if you by chance have stumbled across this little nook of the internet, you’re probably asking yourself two questions:
where the hell is Oslo? & what’s this about polar bears?
here’s Oslo.
it’s the capitol of this country I live in.
“this country” is Norway.
now, about those polar bears. . .
when I was younger, it was common belief among me & my classmates that the only things foreigners associated with norway were polar bears roaming the streets, vikings & those trolls.
well, we do have a lot of viking history to brag about, & (unfortunately) those troll statutes can be seen in just about every tourist shop.
as for the polar bears, i have, sadly, never seen one walking down Karl Johan, or any other street in Oslo.
so if you’re still here, expecting to hear about polar bears, you’re gonna be disappointed.
this blog will be soley devoted to my hometown, the people in it, & my own love/hate relationship with it.
